Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

UK Independent Vet Practice PIMS Survey 2026 - £250 Amazon Voucher Prize Draw

Last updated: May 2026 Version: 1.0

These terms govern the prize draw running alongside the UK Independent Vet Practice PIMS Survey 2026. By entering the prize draw, you agree to these terms.

1. The promoter

The promoter of this prize draw is:

  • VetStack Consulting Limited

  • Company number: 16930301 (registered in England and Wales)

  • Research contact: research@vetstack.uk

The promoter is not affiliated with Amazon, and Amazon is not a sponsor, endorser or administrator of this prize draw.

2. The prize

One (1) £250 Amazon UK gift voucher, delivered to the winner by email as a digital code redeemable at amazon.co.uk.

The prize is non-transferable. There is no cash alternative. The prize cannot be substituted at the winner's request, except where the promoter is unable to supply the stated prize for reasons outside its control, in which case a prize of equivalent value will be offered.

3. Eligibility

The prize draw is open to:

  • UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Crown Dependencies)

  • aged 18 or over at the date of entry

  • who are employed by, partner in, or otherwise representing a UK veterinary practice in a research capacity (vet, RVN, practice manager, owner, partner, or equivalent).

The following persons are not eligible to enter and any entry from them will be void:

  • employees, directors, contractors and consultants of VetStack Consulting Limited and any of its group companies, and their immediate families and households

  • anyone professionally involved in the administration or judging of this prize draw.

4. How to enter

Entry is free.

To enter, complete the UK Independent Vet Practice PIMS Survey 2026 in full and, when prompted in the optional prize draw question at the end of the survey, provide a valid email address.

The survey is the only entry route. There is no alternative paper-based or postal entry route, since survey completion is itself the no-cost mechanism. There is no purchase requirement.

5. Entry period

The prize draw opens at the moment the survey is published and closes on 01/06/2026 UK time. Entries received after the closing time will not be entered into the draw.

The promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, or not received due to technical failures, internet connectivity issues, or any other cause outside its reasonable control.

6. Limit of one entry per practice

Only one entry per veterinary practice will be admitted into the draw. If multiple entries are received from the same practice, only the first entry by timestamp will be valid; subsequent entries will be void.

7. Selection of the winner

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries within seven (7) days of the closing time. Selection is performed by automated random draw against the entry list. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. Notification of the winner

The winner will be notified by email at the address provided in the entry within seven (7) days of the draw.

The winner must respond to the notification email within fourteen (14) days, confirming acceptance of the prize and providing any information needed to deliver it.

If the winner does not respond within fourteen (14) days, the original prize is forfeit and the promoter reserves the right to draw a replacement winner from the remaining valid entries.

9. Delivery of the prize

The £250 Amazon UK gift voucher will be sent by email to the winning email address within fourteen (14) days of the winner's confirmation. The promoter will retain proof of delivery for thirty (30) days.

10. Publicity

The promoter may, on the survey's published sector report and on its website, publish the winner's first name and the county or region of their practice (e.g. "Sarah, Cheshire"). The full name, practice name, full email address and any other identifying information will not be published.

If the winner does not consent to this limited publication, they may opt out at the point of accepting the prize. Opting out of publicity does not affect their entitlement to receive the prize.

11. Data protection

What we collect

For prize draw entrants, we collect the email address you provide at the prize draw question in the survey.

Why we collect it

To select and contact the winner, deliver the prize, and (if the winner consents) publish the winner's first name and county.

How it is held

The email address is stored in a database that is separate from your survey responses. It is not linked to your survey answers. We cannot connect your prize draw entry back to your individual research responses.

Lawful basis

Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR - consent. Submitting an email at the prize draw question constitutes consent to processing for the purposes set out in these terms.

Retention

Prize draw entry emails are retained until the prize has been awarded and any related correspondence resolved. They are then deleted within thirty (30) days.

Your rights

You may withdraw consent and have your entry deleted at any time before the closing date by emailing research@vetstack.uk. After the closing date, deletion may mean we cannot enter you into the draw or award a prize.

12. Use of the email for any other purpose

The email address provided at the prize draw question will not be:

  • linked to your survey responses

  • used to contact you for marketing or sales of any kind

  • shared with any third party other than as required to operate the prize draw

  • used for any purpose other than running and concluding this prize draw.

13. Cancellation, suspension and amendment

The promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the prize draw, the prize, or these terms if circumstances outside its reasonable control require it (including but not limited to events of force majeure, fraud, technical failure, or the actions of any third party that compromise the fairness or proper administration of the draw).

If the prize draw is cancelled or suspended, the promoter will publish notice on its website and notify entrants who have provided an email address.

14. Liability

The promoter does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

To the extent permitted by law, the promoter is not liable for any loss or damage to entrants or winners arising from participation in the prize draw, acceptance of the prize, or any cause connected with the prize draw, including any loss or damage caused by the use of the prize.

The maximum aggregate liability of the promoter under or in connection with these terms is limited to the value of the prize.

15. Compliance

This prize draw is operated in accordance with the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) Code on prize promotions. Entry is free, no purchase is necessary, and the prize draw is not a lottery within the meaning of the Gambling Act 2005.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms and any dispute arising under them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you have a complaint about the prize draw that cannot be resolved with the promoter, you may refer it to the Advertising Standards Authority at https://www.asa.org.uk.
